- Party A's authority is split across A1, A2 and A3
- Party B's authority is split across B1, B2 and B3
- Any two A shares reconstruct the A half
- Any two B shares reconstruct the B half
- A valid A half and valid B half must then be combined
- Neither principal can act alone
- Loss of one sapphire on either side does not destroy recovery
